Stroll along the banks of the Seine in the footsteps of Claude Monet, the famous impressionist painter, who spent 43 years in the village of Giverny.

Ange will be your guide for this bucolic excursion which will lead you from the charming town of Vernon

(from Vernon-Giverny train station) to Giverny (about 6 km, easy level cycle path).

Along the way, Ange will present various places that inspired Monet for his paintings: the House on the Old Bridge, the seafront at Vernon, the Seine near Vernon...

All these landscapes were painted in 1883 by Monet, the same year he moved to Giverny.

In the village, discover the old Baudy hotel-restaurant where Monet liked to meet his friends, the church and its cemetery where the painter's tomb is located.

As you walk around Monet's house, you will discover much more about his work as a painter and in the gardens,

you will be inspired by its beauty and originality with the famous Nymphéas pond.
